Too busy reading

I have been too busy reading the Twilight series that I haven't posted anything or even updated the reading list on this blog.

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the series. I never thought that I would like to read a vampire book, but here I am. I started the first book, Twilight, on Christmas Eve in the car on the way to Oklahoma. I finished it quickly and couldn't wait to read the next one, New Moon. In quick succession I read the last two books, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. I finished Breaking Dawn on Tuesday morning. It should have been done on Sunday, but I didn't really do any reading that day and ended up being out of the house most of the day on Monday...oh well.

Anyway, I finished the last book about 24 hours ago now and I am already thinking about reading them again. Is that so wrong?

Any thoughts from anyone as to what I should read next? I have some things lined up, but none of them are calling out to me at the moment. I am starting Death by Cashmere by Sally Goldenbaum. It is a knitting mystery. I like those. It just isn't getting me excited after Twilight.

What are you reading?

You were in Oklahoma while I was in Louisiana. That's so very sad. :(

Yeah, it's good to take a break after books like Twilight. Get back into real life for awhile. Check out Holly at Anglophilefootballfanatic.com for her read a book a month challenge.

I recommend the Circle Trilogy by Ted Dekker (Black, Red & White). And if you think you want to reread the Twilight series sometime... just let me know and I'll shoot this back to you (as soon as I'm finished of course). ;)

Thanks Kelli. You have already talked me into those. I put them on hold at the library today.
